Glimmer - PM/Nighttime Exfoliating Serum

Lactic Acid, a Chemical exfoliator, accelerates surface dead skin cellular turnover to refine
texture, brighten skin, and clear acne blemishes...with anti-inflammatory Rose Hydrosol and calming Essential Lavender oil. Sloughs off dead skin, increasing cellular turnover and renewal, while brightening your skin, leaving you with a fresh face.

How it works

PM/Nighttime serum used to slough off dead skin, increasing cellular turnover and renewal, while brightening your skin, leaving you with a fresh face.

How to Apply

At nighttime, after washing face, generously pump to fingertips and apply to face, neck, and chest to help accelerate dead epidermis cells. After fully absorbed, apply Glow and/or nighttime moisturizer.

Active ingredients

Lactic Acid: This plant-based alpha-hydroxy acid loosens and exfoliates dead skin cells,
effectively promoting cellular turnover. Beneficial for aiding in control of acne, decreasing the appearance of pores, and smoothing out rough skin. This antiwrinkle and pigmentation-fighting ingredient can help improve the skins natural moisture factor. Stimulates collagen renewal; can help fade hyperpigmentation (AKA sun spots or age spots) and can firm your skin, smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles.

Pure Rose Hydrosol:  The by-product of essential oil distillation from fresh rose petals,
produced during the steam distilling process.  Steam is passed through plant material, condensate is collected, the essential oil floating on the surface is collected, and the water that is remaining is the hydrosol.  It is 30 times stronger than herbal teas and gentler than essential oils. It restores the skin’s pH and tightens pores.  Acts as an anti-inflammatory, reducing irritation and redness, while calming and soothing skin. It controls and balances sebum production, making it useful for both dry and oily skin.

Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Hyaluronate): a natural sugar that occurs in body tissues including the skin providing hydration, stability and lubrication.  As we age, skin loses hyaluronic acid and the ability to hold sufficient water in this reservoir.  Once it sinks into the skin, hyaluronic acid can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water – giving skin a soft, plumper texture and more even skin tone.  It can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Organic Lavender Essential Oil: renowned botanical belonging to the mint family.  Lavundula angustifolia has long been enjoyed in its oil form for its lavish scent and healing effects.  Benefits skin in many ways, including: fighting acne, balancing skin moisture barrier, reducing redness, blotchy patches and acne scarring, detoxifies skin, antioxidant properties helps prevent wrinkles, and heals injured skin.

Full ingredients:
Rose Hydrosol, Lactic Acid, Glycerin, L-Arginine, Leucidal SF (Lactobacillus Ferment),
Laureth-23, Sodium Hyaluronate, Triethanolamine, Panthenol, Allantoin, Organic Essential Lavender Oil.

Glisten - AM serum -Hyperpigmentation Corrector This morning antioxidant serum provides protection against aging caused by environmental stressors.

Glisten - AM serum - Hyperpigmentation Corrector

This morning antioxidant serum provides protection against aging caused by environmental stressors.

How it Works

Antioxidant Vitamin C, E, Ferulic Acid Serum prevents and protects against environmental factors, while revitalizing a dull complexion, fading sun spots, and reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Pentapeptide-18 targets facial expression muscles.

How To Apply

In the morning after gently washing face, generously pump to fingertips and apply to face, neck, and chest. After fully absorbed, apply other anti-aging skincare products such as Glow, and layer other skincare moisturizing products and sunscreen.

Active ingredients

L-Ascorbic Acid: A potent anti-oxidant comes from natural sources such as citrus fruits,
neutralizes free radicals and protects against oxidative stress, while providing visible anti-aging benefits, including: decreasing hyper-pigmentation, brightening dull skin, evening out skin tone, and improving texture. This rejuvenating vitamin ingredient helps protect and repair skin, playing a part in the reduction of photo-damage caused by harmful UVB rays, helping the skin inhibit melatonin production.   Penetrates the skin tissue and is active in collagen and elastin production, increasing firmness in skin. Suitable for oily, dry and combination skin types.

Pentapeptide-18: A five amino-acid peptide that is claimed to target expression wrinkles that appear due to facial movements.  Reduces the depth of wrinkles on the face caused by the contraction of muscles of facial expression, especially in the forehead and around the eyes.  Likely to help boost skin’s moisture content.

Vitamin E (d-Alpha Tocopherol): Plays an important role in neutralizing free radicals,
moisturizing skin, and improving appearance of skin aging. This antioxidant is considered to be the most effective, higher stable form of Vitamin E. The “d” prefix indicates that the vitamin was created from natural sources such as vegetable oils or wheat germ.  Its’ properties help defend from environmental stressors like pollution and UV that would otherwise weaken skin, causing unwanted changes.  It also helps tighten and firm the look of skin, making it the perfect addition to any anti-aging formula.

Ferulic Acid: A plant-based antioxidant, neutralizing free radicals and boosting the anti-oxidant benefits and stability of highly oxidative Vitamin C and E, increases photoprotection and actually makes Vitamins C and E last longer and work harder, helping with skin rejuvenation and preservation.  Reduces formation of fine lines and wrinkles; potential for sagging skin, inflammation, formation of brown spots, uneven skin tone by redness, dark spots from pimples; also reduces pigmentation related to melasma.  According to the Journal of Investigative Dermatology, “Ferulic acid alone (and Vitamins C, E, and Ferulic Acid provide virtually complete protection.”  For optimal effectiveness, ferulic acid should come packaged in a dark or opaque bottle to protect it from light and should be stored in a cool area.

Panthenol: Also known as provitamin B5, can help improve skin’s hydration, elasticity, and smooth appearance. It is a humectant, attracting water to and holding it in the skin, as well as an emollient, smoothing and softening the skin. It’s anti-inflammatory properties are involved in activating the proliferation of cells that are important for restoring the function of the skin barrier, increasing softness and shine.  Good for all skin types, particularly those with dry or flaky skin, reducing redness and itchiness for dermatitis.

Full ingredients:
Distilled Water, Ethoxydiglycol, L-Ascorbic Acid, Glycerin, Propanediol, Pentapeptide-18,
Laureth-23, Leucidal SF Lactobacillus Ferment), d-Alpha Tocopheral, Ferulic Acid, Panthenol, Triethanolamine, Sodium Hyaluronate.

Glow- Anti-Aging Serum

AM/PM Serum is designed to tighten and lift skin, minimizing wrinkles, while giving your face a healthy glow. This multi-beneficial serum improves the skin’s firmness, smoothness and plumpness, while tightening pores and brightening overall skin tone.

How it works

This formulation contains niacinamide, both high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, and three types of peptides, designed to tighten pores, target fine lines and wrinkles., and improve tone and texture.

How to Apply

AM/PM Apply this at anti-aging serum at least twice per day. Generously pump to fingertips and apply to face, neck, and chest. Apply in the evening, layering on top of Glimmer after fully absorbed and in the morning after Glisten is fully absorbed, followed by appropriate moisturizing cream and sunscreen. It can be applied anytime; ideally in the evening after Glimmer and in the morning after Glisten.

Active ingredients

Niacinamide: Also known as vitamin B3, niacinamide works with the natural substances in your skin to help visibly minimize enlarged pores, tighten lax pores, improve uneven skin tone, soften fine lines and wrinkles, diminish dullness, and strengthen a weakened surface. Niacinamide reduces the impact of environmental damage because of its ability to improve skin’s barrier, plus it plays a role in helping skin to repair signs of past damage.  It has been shown to reduce visible signs of sun damage and aging, including pigmentation and fine wrinkles, as well as reducing blotchiness and increasing elasticity. Also shown to boost the hydrating ability of moisturizers so skin’s surface can better resist the moisture loss that leads to recurrent dry, tight, flaky skin.

DMAE:  (dimethylaminoethanol) Topical application of DMAE offers anti-aging benefits,
including: improvement in skin firmness, reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles and sagging neck skin, improving dark under-eye circles, mitigating forehead lines and periorbital fine wrinkles, improving lip shape and fullness, and improving overall appearance of aging skin. DMAE can also improve the appearance of skin elasticity and luminosity, brightening skins’ appearance and evening out imperfections.

Silk Peptide: Silk Amino Acids are obtained from the cocoon of the silkworm.  They are the binding agent that is found within the filaments of silk and are produced by chemically tearing apart silk proteins into smaller peptide chains.  Aside from the soft texture of silk extracts, silk amino acids contain properties which allow it to rejuvenate skin tone, reduce wrinkles, and hydrate your skin to help protect from free radicals. Clinical studies show silk peptides have many anti-oxidant properties that help to prevent wrinkling.  Because of their high molecular weight, silk peptides leave behind semi-occlusive films that remain on the surface to protect the skin, increasing skin permeability, further increasing the skin’s resistance to damage and fine lines.

Palmitoyl Oligopeptide: is a blend of several fatty and amino acids, meant to absorb deep into the skin and help synthesize proteins to encourage your skin’s natural health and skin restoring ability. Used for eyes, deep face wrinkles, and the decollete, it can help preserve, protect, and renew collagen in skin damaged by ultraviolet light. Studies have shown that this ingredient can fuel collagen production by 350% and hyaluronic acid production by 146%. Studies have also shown a reduction in skin roughness, thickness, and the depth of wrinkles overall.

Palmitoyl Tetra-Peptide-7: Believed to work as a skin-restoring anti-inflammatory agent with anti-aging benefits. Known to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, sDtimulate hyaluronic acid production,   increase skin elasticity, moisturize and hydrate, stimulate collagen production, and repair sun damage.

Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Hyaluronate): a natural sugar that occurs in body tissues including the skin providing hydration, stability and lubrication.  As we age, skin loses hyaluronic acid and the ability to hold sufficient water in its’ reservoir. Once it is absorbed into the skin, hyaluronic acid can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water – giving skin a soft, plumper texture and more even skin tone.

  • High Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid (HMW-HA)  Valued for its excellent hydration properties and anti-aging effect. It can create a film-like barrier on the skin, preventing moisture loss and protecting the skin from environmental aggressors. It provides long-lasting hydration, improves skin texture and elasticity, and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Super Low Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid (SLMW-HA) This formulation is made by enzymatically cleaving high-molecular weight hyaluronic acid into small fragments, with a molecular weight of 8-20k Daltons. Can more easily penetrate the skin (dermis) than HMW-HA, providing smoothness to skin and anti-wrinkle effects. Additionally, it can stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, providing significant firming and hydration.

HOW TO APPLY:  Apply this hydrating serum at least twice daily, followed by desired moisturizing cream/sunscreen. Generously apply to face, neck, chest, and hands.

INGREDIENTS: Distilled Water, Leucidal SF (Lactobacillus Ferment), Propanediol, Glycerin, Polysorbate 80, Organic Rosehip Seed Oil, Hemp Extract with 250 each of CBD and CBG, Sodium Hyaluronate (HMW HA and SLMW HA), Organic Ylang Ylang Essential Xanthan Gum.

Active Ingredients

CBD & CBG: These hemp-derived cannabinoids are highly anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antioxidant. They have been shown to increase cellular turnover, reduce skin inflammation and the appearance of redness, and to improve skin barrier function. Since CBD and CBG have different molecular structures, they bind to the endocannabinoid receptors in different ways for distinct effects.

By the time a hemp plant is harvested, it may contain less than one percent CBG overall, making this parent cannabinoid one of the most ancient secrets and oldest compounds on the planet.

Cannabigerol (CBG) is touted as the ‘mother of all cannabinoids’ because it is the plant precursor to tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD). CBG has shown antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and skin health-boosting activity in lab assays and provides similar benefits when applied topically to human skin, according to new research.

CBG penetrates deep into the basal and subcutaneous layers of the skin. It assists with cellular turnover, balances sebum (oil) production, and purifies pores. Its antibacterial properties can help reduce blemishes and promote clearer skin.

Cannabidiol (CBD) has been shown to help reduce symptoms of inflammatory acne and breakouts; regulate hormones involved in oil production; reduce excess sebum; calm rosacea; sooth eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis; help hydrate dry skin, and can help counteract the look of aging.

High molecular weight hyaluronic acid: can form a breathable film on the skin surface to lock moisture on the skin surface to prevent moisture evaporation and maintain moisture for a long time. However, it has poor penetration and is not be absorbed deep into the  skin.

Super Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid: can penetrate into the dermis of the skin, play a role in the skin, lock moisture, promote skin metabolism, and make the skin moist, smooth, delicate, tender, and elastic. After long-term use, it also has anti-aging effects.

HMW HA and SLMW HA work synergistically, preventing evaporating, maintaining moisture, AND penetrating and absorbing deeper into the dermis.

Rosehip Seed Oil:  Rosehip oil is derived from the rosa canina rose bush, which is grown
mostly in Chile and is pressed from the fruit and seeds of the rose plant. Rosehip oil contains a wealth of essential fatty acids, making it an excellent option for hydrating dry and itchy skin. Vitamin A, retinoids, lycopene and beta carotene found in Rosehip Oil encourages skin cell turnover;  improves natural exfoliation; stimulates collagen production; and reduces hyperpigmentation.

Ylang Ylang: The name Ylang Ylang has a translation as “flower of flowers” and comes from the Cananga tree (Cananga odorata) that produces the flower. Ylang Ylang oil helps to balance the skin, whether oily or dry. It has myriad of uses in healing acne, helping with fine lines and wrinkles, and making the skin glow. Because of its anti-fungal properties, it can speed up the healing of wounds. Ylang Ylang oil absorbs excessive sebum, helping with  acne, inflammation, and aiding in maintaining clear skin. It hydrates and moisturizes, while regenerating cells, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and creating a youthful glow.
